Delete Your SyncFutures Account

You can request deletion of your SyncFutures account and associated data at any time. This page explains how to do that, what is deleted, and what we are required to retain by law.

How to request account deletion

  1. Send an email to support@syncfutures.com from the email address associated with your SyncFutures account.
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. In the body, include your account email and confirm that you wish to delete your account and associated data.
  4. We will verify the request, process it within 30 days, and email you a confirmation when deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Broker connections: broker account identifiers, OAuth tokens, and stored API credentials.
  • Copy trading configuration: copier rules, master/slave mappings, and per-rule settings.
  • Trade history within the Service: records of orders we replicated on your behalf.
  • Support tickets: tickets you opened and our replies, after they are no longer needed for active issue resolution.
  • Mobile push notification tokens: APNs and FCM tokens we used to send notifications.

What data we retain

Some data is retained even after account deletion, either because the law requires it or because it is no longer associated with you personally:

  • Billing and payment records: retained for 7 years for tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Anonymized analytics: aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
  • Records required by law: any data we are legally obligated to preserve in response to a subpoena, court order, or regulatory requirement.

Trade activity at your broker (orders placed in your brokerage account) is owned and retained by your broker, not by SyncFutures. To request deletion of broker-side records, contact your broker directly.

Recovery window

For up to 90 days after we confirm deletion, we may retain a backup of your account data solely to allow recovery if the request was made in error. After 90 days the backup is permanently purged. If you want immediate, irreversible deletion with no recovery window, state this explicitly in your request.

Subscription cancellation vs account deletion

Cancelling your SyncFutures subscription does not delete your account. You can cancel billing while keeping your account active (for example, to resubscribe later). Account deletion is a separate request and removes your account even if your subscription has already been cancelled.
