Running Multiple MyFundedFutures Accounts with SyncFutures (2026 Guide)
How to copy trades across multiple MyFundedFutures accounts using SyncFutures — adding evaluation and funded accounts as slaves, setting quantity multipliers for different account sizes, and what MFFU's copy trading policy requires.

Most MyFundedFutures traders eventually run more than one account. Evaluation accounts for new challenge windows. Multiple funded accounts from different program types. Sometimes both at once.
Placing the same trade across all of them manually — once per account, every session — is the kind of thing that's easy to underestimate until you're doing it daily. SyncFutures copies from one master account to all your MFFU slaves automatically, whether they're on Tradovate or NinjaTrader.
This guide covers adding multiple MFFU accounts as slaves, configuring copy rules, and what you need to know about MFFU's copy trading policy before you start.
How MFFU Accounts Connect to SyncFutures
MyFundedFutures accounts connect through Tradovate's OAuth2. That applies whether your MFFU account is labeled as "Tradovate" or "NinjaTrader" at account creation — both paths use the same Tradovate authorization flow in SyncFutures. You click to authorize, Tradovate authenticates you, and the connection is done. No password entry required.
When you add a connection in SyncFutures, you'll choose between Tradovate and NinjaTrader as the broker type. Pick the one that matches how your MFFU account is labeled. Both go through the same OAuth2 flow, so the setup steps are identical.
One thing to get right: the environment selector. SyncFutures asks you to pick Live or Demo before it sends you to Tradovate, not after. Prop firm accounts are normally on Demo, and the dialog says as much when you choose. Pick the wrong environment and you'll see no accounts in the account picker; go back and reconnect with the other one.
What You Need Before Starting
- A SyncFutures account. Plans count broker connections, not accounts — all your MFFU accounts under one login arrive together on a single connection. A master at another firm plus your MFFU accounts is typically two connections, so the Starter plan (3 connections, $39/mo) covers it however many MFFU accounts you run. Professional is 5 connections; Ultimate is unlimited connections and up to 200 accounts.
- Your MFFU accounts set up and accessible in Tradovate (or NinjaTrader). They should be showing positions and balance before you connect them to SyncFutures.
- A master account — the account from which trades copy. This doesn't have to be an MFFU account. Traders commonly use a personal Tradovate live account, a stable funded account at another firm, or a Rithmic master feeding Tradovate MFFU slaves.
Adding Multiple MFFU Accounts as Slaves
- In SyncFutures, go to Accounts.
- Click Add Account and select Tradovate (or NinjaTrader if your MFFU accounts use that label).
- Give the connection a name (2–50 characters, something like
MFFU). The environment buttons stay disabled until you do. - Choose the environment — Demo for prop firm accounts, unless you know yours is Live.
- You'll be redirected to Tradovate's OAuth2 screen. Sign in and authorize SyncFutures.
- Every MFFU account under that login syncs in at once. You don't add them one at a time.
Add your master account the same way if it isn't connected yet. If you later open new MFFU accounts under the same login, use Refresh Accounts on the existing connection to pull them in.
Setting Up Copier Rules
Once your accounts are connected, create a copy rule in SyncFutures:
- Go to Copier Rules and create a new rule.
- Set your master account as the source.
- Add each MFFU account as a slave under that rule.
- Set the contract symbol. SyncFutures rules are pinned to a specific contract — for example,
ESZ6for the December E-mini S&P 500. Note that Tradovate symbols use a single-digit year (ESZ6, notESZ26). - Set quantity multipliers per slave as needed (see below).
- Activate the rule.
One rule can feed all your MFFU accounts simultaneously. At quarterly rollover, you update the symbol in the rule once — it propagates to all slaves in that rule at the same time.
Handling Different Account Sizes
Not all your MFFU accounts will be the same size. An evaluation account has a different drawdown ceiling than a funded account, and you may want to copy at a smaller size to stay proportionally within the evaluation's limits.
SyncFutures lets you set a quantity multiplier per slave, from 0.1x to 100x. If your master trades 2 MNQ contracts and you have an MFFU evaluation with a smaller buffer, you can copy at 0.5x — it sends 1 contract. The master stays unchanged; each slave gets its own multiplier.
| Account | Multiplier | Copies |
|---|---|---|
| MFFU funded (larger) | 1x | Same size as master |
| MFFU eval (smaller) | 0.5x | Half the master size |
| MFFU eval (very small) | 0.25x | Quarter size |
Multipliers are set per slave in the copy rule — you don't need a separate rule for each account size.
MFFU Copy Trading Policy
Two things worth stating plainly:
Copy trading between your own MFFU accounts is permitted. MFFU's automation policy allows copy trading across accounts you own, as long as you supervise it. Copying another trader's account, or having someone else copy yours, is a separate matter covered by their Fair Play rules.
MFFU provides no support for copy trading issues. In their own words, MyFunded Futures is "not obligated to provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, or account resets for any issues stemming from copy trading activities," and they disclaim liability for copy trading software. If a copy fails to land on a slave account, resolving it is on you — through SyncFutures support or your broker connection settings, not MFFU support.
Rules change, and they can differ by account type, so check your own account's current policy with MFFU before you go live.
SyncFutures notifies you if a copy fails, so you know during the session rather than checking the journal after. But fixing the underlying issue — whether that's a disconnected account, a wrong environment, or a symbol mismatch — is your responsibility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can my master account be at a different broker?
Yes. The master can be any account SyncFutures connects to — Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader, or ProjectX (TopstepX). MFFU accounts can be slaves regardless of what broker the master runs on.
Do I need to reconnect at quarterly rollover?
No reconnection needed. You do need to update the contract symbol in your copy rule when the front month rolls. For Tradovate, that's updating ESU6 to ESZ6 (or whichever contract) in the rule's symbol field. One update applies to all slaves in the rule.
What happens if one slave disconnects mid-session?
The other slaves in the rule keep copying normally — a problem with one account doesn't affect the others. You'll get a notification when a copy fails on an account, and another when a follower is skipped because its connection is down (in the app, and on your phone if you've installed the mobile app). That account stays out of sync with the master until you reconnect it and square the position yourself, so treat those notifications as something to act on during the session.
Can I have a different master for different accounts?
Yes. You can create multiple copy rules, each with its own master. If you have some MFFU accounts copying from one master and others copying from a different source, set up one rule per master.
What's the minimum plan for this setup?
Usually Starter ($39/mo). Your MFFU accounts share one connection and your master is a second, so 3 connections is room to spare — the number of MFFU accounts inside the connection doesn't change the plan you need. Professional (5 connections, $89/mo) and Ultimate (unlimited connections, up to 200 accounts, $129/mo) are for running more firms or brokers, not more accounts. All three plans have the same features.
Getting Started
If you haven't set up SyncFutures yet, start with the 7-day free trial. Connect your accounts, run a live session, and verify the copies land before committing.
If you're already set up and just adding more MFFU accounts, go to Accounts and hit Refresh Accounts on your MFFU connection — or add a new connection if the accounts sit under a different login. Then update your copier rule to include them as additional slaves.
